Roger Tallon for Lip; NOS electronic “Frigo” watch, 1974

A New Old Stock “Frigo” wristwatch, with electronic quartz movement, designed by Roger Tallon for Lip, France in 1974. With original strap, buckle and tag. Roger Tallon is one of France’s greatest designers. His work includes tableware, furniture, interior design, reflector lamps for the German Erco, ski boots for Salomon, toothbrushes for Fluocaril, oilcans for Elf and so on. He also worked on trains, planes and whole transportation networks, among countless other projects. In 1985 he received the Grand Prix National de la Création Industrielle from the French Minister of Culture.
