Pierre Balmain ‘Chaillot’ watch 1972

A “Chaillot” watch; ‘driver’ model with chrome metal case, hand wind movement and original strap and buckle. Made in 1972. Almost NOS with original strap and buckle but note that the leather is a bit creased because not properly stocked. Pierre Balmain was an important fashion designer, not only in his home country France but also in the United States and United Kingdom. The house still exists nowadays but these watches were designed and produced in the 1970s. The style is a bit similar to those of that other fashion designer; Pierre Cardin.
