Michel Boyer for Lip: the 4 seasons watches, 1974

A set of four plastic New Old Stock mechanical watches with hand wind movement, designed by Michel Boyer for Lip, France in 1974. This is a very rare set; exceptional that this NOS series is still complete. Each watch represents one of the four seasons. They were made in plastic and not very expensive: the same principle as with Swatch many years later. Although (or because?) production and design were ahead of their time not many were sold.
