Lip Baschmakoff jump hour watch, 1972, NOS

A chrome metal “Jump Hour” watch, with hand wind movement. Designed by Prince Francois de Baschmakoff in 1972, made by Lip, France. NOS, new old stock with original black leather strap.

Prince Francois de Baschmakoff is known for his graphics but for Lip he designed some iconic watches. This Jump Hour mechanism was in fact the first digital (read) watch and in the 1970’s a complete new way of telling time. Lip has taken his designs in production again but these watches come with a quartz movement (note that because of this re-issue new leather straps can be bought for this model). So this Jump Hour we have in stock is the only original from 1972 and will always keep its value. And it is New Old Stock so never been worn! In mint condition with original strap and buckle.
