Exceptional brass chess set with board

An exceptional and highly unusual metal chess set comprising all the pieces and a large board. Beautiful design; each piece can be considered to be a sculpture/work of art by itself. Excellent workmanship on the metal. Each piece is hand-made of brass, the black pieces are tin/pewter electroplated. In excellent condition.

The design resembles the work of Francois Raty, France. Each ‘army’ has it’s own design. The figures seem to come from a Star Wars-movie or some exotic lost culture. Very refined chasing, especially in the faces.
