Brousse prototype wooden desk lamp, 1984

A very unusual wooden desk lamp, model Arbalète. This architectural lamp is probably a prototype. Made in wood and with metal weights and details. The halogen fitting can be moved horizontally between the two metal wires, the light has two strengths. The transformer is hidden in the base. This lamp is a wonderful design and very precisely executed. The loose fitting has some wear because is has been too warm: it should not be switched on the whole day. Signed Brousse and dated 05-84.
