Meerschaum pipe 19th century colonial figure

This object is probably the oldest in our collection: made in the 19th century. We bought it because of the qualitly of the carving and the way the different colours of the meerschaum support the design. The black on the top of the head is the result of the use. Unfortunately the two parts are not connected anymore, but the pipe is still in its original case.
